Audio/ Visual Ministry
Scripture:
Matthew 7:24,25 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock.…”
Mission Statement:
To enhance the praise and worship experience and disseminate the fruit of the Word to the body of Christ through audio/visual media. Our purpose is to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ through the use of technology and media. The ministry currently records all Sunday morning services.
Services We Provide:
- Quality sound output for the praise team, musicians, preachers, and special guests.
- Record video and audio of Sunday sermons.
- Monitor the church’s online live streaming
- Display song lyrics, sermon notes, and video announcements on church projectors.
Athletic Ministry
Scripture:
I Corinthians 9:24-27 :Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. …………. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
Mission Statement:
Knowing our bodies are dwelling places for the Holy Spirit, our mission is to faithfully instruct and encourage disciples to honor God with their bodies through physical activities that will enhance spiritual, mental, emotional and physical growth and assist in serving the kingdom.
Services We Provide:
- A safe, Christ-centered environment where athletic skills can be learned and developed.
- Provide opportunities through athletics for bonding and mentorship relationships between mature members and our youth.
CD Ministry
Scripture:
Romans 12: 6: “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them”.
Mission Statement:
This ministry records the worship services and special concerts of the church. These taped services are prepared for sale to those who are unable to attend services due to health, work or other conditions.
Services We Provide:
- Provide God led mentorship
- CDs for sales for playback of the worship service.
- High quality pre-recorded CD’s.
Children’s Bible Hour
Scripture:
Deuteronomy 6:6,7 “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Mission Statement:
To meet children at their development, teach them the love of Christ and the joy of his forgiveness and salvation, and help them learn the truth of His word with joy and excitement
Services We Provide:
- Bible based age appropriate lessons
- Enrichment activities and programs to extend and apply biblical knowledge
College Ministry
Scripture:
Proverbs 18:15-24 “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great. The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.”
Mission Statement:
The college ministry invests deeply in the lives of college students to magnify and multiply the gospel throughout Houston. We aim to reach out to reach out to students at their campuses, connect them to Trinity Gardens, and disciple them through intentional relationships.
Services We Provide:
- Care packages
- Motivate students to a life of total commitment to Christ and the cause of Christ.
- Encourage and develop God-given talents and abilities.
- Develop leadership qualities by encouraging the student toward responsible leadership involvement.
- Cultivate Biblical insight to further enhance the student’s Christian lifestyle and service
Economic Development Ministry
Scripture:
Nehemiah 2:5,8 “…If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my ancestors are buried so that I can rebuild it. ; so I set a time… And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.“
Mission Statement:
Engage the whole person to build mind, body and soul for Kingdom pursuits through healthier bodies, stronger businesses, community outreach and political awareness. Building on the expertise and gifts of our congregation and community, this ministry offers a supportive environment for current and aspiring business owners to grow in God’s plan for their enterprise.

- Small business seminars
Encompass Prayer Ministry
Scripture:
James 5:16 “…pray for each other so you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful.”
Mission Statement:
To pray, intercede, stand in the gap, and war on behalf of the underserved, saved and unsaved, loved and those feeling unloved in the earth.
Services We Provide:
- A weekly morning call-in prayer group for women
- Assist in the organization of small group devotions and prayer groups
- Assist church leadership in praying with females who respond to the worship altar call invitation
First Principles Ministry
Scripture:
I John 4:11-13: “Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He is us because He has given us His spirit”
Mission Statement:
Connect and equip new members with the foundational, spiritual, and practical knowledge to be a disciple at Trinity Gardens Church of Christ
Services We Provide:
- Record data for those who are new to the church family
- Initiate contact with individuals and new members to pray with them and guide them through the First Principles Ministry.
- Follow-up with members to encourage faithfulness to bible study and involvement in ministry.
- Provide guests with information about ministries at TG, classroom locations, special activities, etc.
- Remain with guests until their needs have been met.
Food Services Ministry
Scripture:
I Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God
Mission Statement:
Our purpose is to support and enhance the ministries of the church by serving healthy, delicious food. We serve them so that they might serve the congregation. We believe food provides the perfect opportunity for fellowship among our church members, visitors and guests.
Services We Provide:
- Healthy Foods
- Food Services during church events, including funeral repass.
Greeters/Information Host Center Ministry
Scripture:
Romans 16:16 “Salute each one another with a holy kiss and…..”
Mission Statement:
To embrace and greet members and visitors with God’s heart of love, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where members feel at home, where strangers become friends and family.
Services We Provide:
- Greet members and visitors with a warm smile and handshake.
- Provides visitors with directions to classes and activities. as needed along with passing out standard literature (i.e. bulletins, prayer/visitor cards and general information)
- Provides to appropriate leadership any concerns or incidents that make occur
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to those who have come to worship
- Assist members/visitors with a variety of question/inquiries
- Host will be provided a brief summary of all material left
- Knowledge of the building and provide directions as needed
