In view of the latest announcements from Washington DC and the City of Houston mandating that no more than 10 people assemble together, we are asking our members not to come to the building for worship service beginning this Sunday, March 22, 2020 until further notice. This action is to protect not only the Trinity Gardens church family, but our community and fellow citizens during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
In lieu of assembling in-person, we will still be able to celebrate together the greatness of our lord and savior Jesus Christ through our virtual platforms, Facebook and YouTube Live and Twitter – beginning this Sunday, March 22 at 10:00 am and every Sunday during this crisis. We will have our same order of service including sign language interpretation for the hearing impaired, available for you, right from the comfort of your home. Don’t forget to say hello as you join us because we love acknowledging your presence.
As we celebrate the sacrifice and the victory we have in Jesus every Sunday by eating the Communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper or the Eucharist), we want to continue this with you while we are together online.
Ways to join us for the Communion.
- You can purchase grape juice and unleavened bread at your nearest grocery store.
OR
- Stop by the church on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to pick up your sealed prepackaged communion consisting of the unleavened and grape juice.
You can celebrate God’s grace through the gift of tithes and offering by going to the Trinity Gardens church of Christ website and selecting the “Donate Button” or mail it directly to the church at 7725-A Sandra, Houston, TX 77016.
As we face this current crisis, remember the words of God to King Jehoshaphat
2 Chronicles 20:15
…“Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this…For the battle is not yours, but God’s”
